Finally I got one...

I finally got a blog setup. I found this one for free and I'm gonna see what all I can do with it. If I actually get some sort of readership, I may consider one that I have to pay for. But I'm not going to pay for a blog which no one reads. So this I guess is my experiment blog. Anyway bookmark it and come back often, or don't if you don't want to. But I should be updating this close to everyday. Here I go, and ENJOY!

Welcome aboard!

If you do decide to go with one you have to pay for then consider Typepad. It gets very high marks in my book. They provide a great service and are very prompt and helpful with questions.

Congratulations and good luck with your blog.

If I do decide to get a pay blog, it won't be for a while. I'm trying to see if I'll get any type of readership, and from what it looks like now, I'm finally getting people here. I'll check into typepad though, and I'll register once I feel the price justifies my readership numbers.

I think you need a light background. Otherwise printing will consume TOO MUCH INK!!!

I just printed out a page of my blog. The background did not print out. It only prints out the text and images and links and so forth, with a white background. Try it yourself! Print out one page and see what happens. If it does print out the background, there may be settings you can change, or I may need to change the color.

Actually I had very little black ink left when I made that comment. Practically way down the bottom. But most likely you are right. I'll try it next time when I'll buy black ink.

You did this all yourself? Your blog looks nice and professional. Why are you entertaining upgrading to one where you need to pay?

I did do it all by myself, but it was with a template that I used. I didn't have to do any programming or anything. And you are right. As long as I'm getting a good free service here, I shouldn't upgrade to a pay site (until I start registering 30,000+ hits a day and need a strong server).

As long as my website isn't slash this slash that dot this slash that question mark equal sign this slash that slash this slash dot colon hyphen slash this dot that.

blogginbert DOT blogspot DOT com is simple enough.
